The European law that sorts AI systems into risk categories, in effect since 2024. High-risk uses (medicine, justice, hiring decisions) face strict requirements; minimal-risk uses (chatbots, translation) face almost none. If your GTM team uses AI for hiring or candidate screening, you need to understand it.
