Chief of Staff (CoS)
A senior operational role that sits next to the CEO, managing cross-functional initiatives, internal communications, and strategic projects. Often the next step after a Founders Associate — the Chief of Staff has more ownership and typically leads teams.
Example
A Chief of Staff at a Series B company might oversee all-hands meetings, manage OKRs across departments, and own the board deck preparation.
