Sales Manager

A leader responsible for managing a team of salespeople (SDRs, AEs, or both), setting quotas, coaching performance, and owning the team's revenue targets. Sales managers are the bridge between individual contributors and VP Sales.

Example

A Sales Manager at a Series B Berlin startup might lead a team of 5 SDRs and 3 AEs, running weekly pipeline reviews and one-on-ones to hit quarterly targets.
