Function Calling / Tool Use
Funktionsaufruf / Tool-Nutzung
The ability of an AI to trigger real actions on top of writing text: querying a database, sending an email, kicking off a calculation. It's the difference between 'I'll explain how to cook' and 'I'll cook for you.' AI agents in GTM workflows depend on it.
Example
An AI sales assistant that looks up a prospect's company info in your CRM, checks their engagement history, and drafts a personalized email in one step.
