Chain-of-Thought (CoT)
Chain-of-Thought (Gedankenkette)
A prompting technique where you tell the AI to think step by step. The AI writes down its reasoning before it answers and makes fewer mistakes, the same way showing your work on a math test does. Use it for complex GTM analysis like deal scoring or territory planning.
Example
Instead of asking 'Is this a good lead?', prompt: 'Think step by step: What industry is this company in? What stage are they? Do they match our ICP? Then give a lead score from 1–10.'
