The choice between building it yourself (your own model, your own infrastructure) and buying access (API via Claude, GPT, Gemini). Building is expensive and flexible. Buying is cheap and fast, and it makes you dependent on the provider. For any CTO evaluating AI for their GTM stack, it's the most important strategic decision.
